About Marty

Marty Hahne’s interest in the field of magic started at the early age of 8, when he found a book about the famous “Houdini” at a garage sale. He read it cover to cover, and that book lead to monthly trips to the magic shop. By the age of 12, Marty was performing shows on weekends and during summer breaks. Magic even helped pay for Marty’s college education, at Kent State University. He worked around his schedule of classes, and started bringing his show to elementary schools, private parties and restaurants.

Shortly after graduating with a degree in telecommunications, Marty went full-time in “Show Biz,” signing on as an entertainer with Carnival Cruise Lines. But after three years of performing on seven different ships, for multiple cruise lines, Marty decided to return to his first love, of entertaining family audiences.

Since 1986, Marty has taken his program to thousands of schools, libraries, festivals and private events. Marty is also well-known in the magic industry, presenting seminars and courses on entertaining children and family audiences. Marty has even entertained and spoken in far-away places such as New Zealand and Singapore.

Marty and his wife of 41 years, Brenda, make their home in Ozark, MO, near the entertainment capital of Branson.
